Page 1: A frog sits by a pond. A big ox walks by and drinks water. The frog looks at the huge ox. / ಒಂದು ಕಪ್ಪೆ ಕೊಳದ ಬಳಿ ಕುಳಿತಿದೆ. ದೊಡ್ಡ ಎತ್ತು ನಡೆದು ನೀರು ಕುಡಿಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಕಪ್ಪೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಎತ್ತು ನೋಡುತ್ತದೆ.
Page 2: "I want to be as big as that ox!" says the frog. She takes a deep breath and puffs herself up. / "ನಾನು ಆ ಎತ್ತು ಅಷ್ಟು ದೊಡ್ಡವನಾಗಲು ಬಯಸುತ್ತೇನೆ!" ಕಪ್ಪೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತದೆ. ಅವಳು ಆಳವಾದ ಉಸಿರನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾಳೆ ಮತ್ತು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ತಾನೇ ಉಬ್ಬಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾಳೆ.
Page 3: "Look!" says the frog. "Am I as big as the ox now?" Her sister says, "No, not even close." / "ನೋಡಿ!" ಕಪ್ಪೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತದೆ. "ನಾನು ಈಗ ಎತ್ತು ಅಷ್ಟು ದೊಡ್ಡವನಾ?" ಅವಳ ತಂಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾಳೆ, "ಇಲ್ಲ, ಹತ್ತಿರವೂ ಇಲ್ಲ."
